Lino Weber is a passionate artist from Karlsruhe, Germany with his main focus on photography. Furthermore he is also increasingly working with other media such as film, painting and digital drawing.
His interests for all sorts of art already began to develop throughout childhood. At the age of 14 he got his first own camera which he took with him everywhere he went. Slowly he particularly specialized in landscape photography since he discovered his joy for travelling, the beauty of the earth and our connectedness to nature which is also reflected in his art. This also resulted in his commitment to the environment and climate action, for which he would like to inspire others with his work too.
Lino’s landscape photography is especially distinguished by his attempt to use a subjective perspective to capture the experiencing of nature and allowing the viewer to witness this moment visually. Therefore, portraying people plays an important role as well in his work which slowly got a documentary character.
This led him to shoot more other genres besides landscapes again. That got him several assignments like school proms and other events which he documented photographically. Due to his now also commercial work he became involved with more fields like product and portrait photography too which are an inherent part of his portfolio. Beside that he also discovered street photography as a new passion for himself.
At the advanced art course at school he had the opportunity to try himself in whole new design possibilities. Especially in the context of his study application for a design academy he is experimenting with different forms of art again. This includes, among other things, analogue and infrared photography, painting, digital drawing, and film in particular.
